Tammy is
a
life-long member of the Oak Grove community and a self-taught,
developing
artist.
Her artwork was originally inspired by three generations of women in her family who painted and quilted. Over the years she has experimented in those mediums and others as well. Most recently, with the encouragement of friends and family, she is pursuing painting and writing as her primary forms of expression. Although the patterns of her work display her love of quilting, her most recent works express a more whimsical view of the world. These works are inspired by recent life changes that have introduced new experiences and opportunities. In addition to being the proud mother of twins, she also enjoys singing, camping and teaching. |
